Beth Brown, Ph.D., is passionate about teaching and positive youth development through sport. A life-long educator, she began her career as an assistant women’s golf coach at the University of Kansas before becoming a lecturer at Washburn University. In 2003, she joined The First Tee, a nonprofit dedicated to teaching youth life skills through golf. In her 15 years in this role, Dr. Brown created innovative programs and curriculum, impacting more than 10 million youth worldwide through the game of golf.
