Dr. Gollnick earned his M.S. degree in Experimental Nuclear Physics at Michigan State University and his Ph.D. in Radiological Physics at the University of California, Los Angeles. He is certified in Comprehensive Health Physics by the American Board of Health Physics. He served as Professor of Physics for 22 years at California State University, Los Angeles before he decided to devote full-time to consulting activities. He was President of Pacific Radiation Corporation, a technical consulting firm he founded to provide assistance, training and decontamination services to the nuclear community. He has taught radiation protection courses at both the technical and professional levels, at numerous sites around the world. He worked for the U.N. International Atomic Energy Agency, assigned as an international expert in Health Physics in Argentina.
